We are using the Atlassian Crowd server for authentication. and receiving the following error.
2014.02.28 11:21:34 org.jivesoftware.openfire.crowd.CrowdManager - Error occured while consuming Crowd REST service
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
How should I begin troubleshooting this?
It doesnt happen on every request but several hundred times an hour.
We are also experienceing clustering issues where the cluster does not get a timely response.
Now I should clarifiy our environment.
we upgraded from 3.8.2 to 3.9.1
it is running on a 64bit Red Hat 6.5
In the /etc/sysconfig/openfire we point to a /usr/java/latest which is
java version "1.7.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode)
